The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dismissed a case made by Sorav Ganguly, President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), who said that the Asia Cup 2020 was dropped, Cricket Pakistan detailed.

As per a source in the PCB, an ultimate choice concerning the competition will be declared by Nazmul Hasan, the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

"The PCB has heard nothing from the ACC on the delay of the Asia Cup T20," a PCB representative said.

Ganguly had before expressed, in a discussion on Sports Tak, that the T20 competition was canceled because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"In December, we have the first full arrangement. Asia Cup 2020 has been canceled which was planned to occur in September," Ganguly said.
