Michael Carberry: nothing to expect from ECB in the wake of racism
Michael Carberry is disappointed with ECB and said he has no expectation from ECB in battling against Racism
Michael Carberry doesn't "anticipate anything" from the England and Wales Cricket Board in battling bigotry, which he says is "overflowing" in the game.
The previous England batsman initially stood up on the Cricket Badger digital broadcast on Monday and says he has not been contacted by the administering body.
"They have put out pictures to state 'we're not supremacist, take a look at Jofra Archer and Adil Rashid hugging in the wake of winning the World Cup'," said Carberry.
"The figures reveal to me in any case."
The ECB talked about the issues raised via Carberry and others at an executive gathering on Friday and said it would work to draw in with network pioneers and dark influencers.
"We have listened cautiously to the individuals who have stood up recently about their encounters of being "Black" in cricket, game, and society," said an ECB articulation.
"We realize that foundational bigotry traverses organizations and areas all over the country and we realize that our game isn't resistant.
''Lately, we have reflected, and recognize that dark players and fans, who have contributed such a great amount to the historical backdrop of our game, presently feel disappointed.
They don't feel as though cricket is a game for them. This must change.
"It is our general want to make self-evident activity, to convey important and long haul change that penetrates each layer of the game.''
On Friday, Vikram Solanki was named by Surrey to turn into the main mentor of the 18 five star regions from a dark, Asian or minority ethnic foundation.
