Watford defender Adrian Mariappa says he is one of three individuals who tested positive for coronavirus at the club.

On Tuesday, it was reported there had been six positive tests across three Premier League clubs.

Two staff at Watford and Burnley right-hand director Ian Woan likewise tried positive, while the two others at a third club have not yet been uncovered.

Chelsea's N'Golo Kante missed training over coronavirus threat, with the sponsorship of his supervisor Frank Lampard.

Deeney and other Watford players remain away


Before the report about Watford's sure tests developed, chief Troy Deeney said he would not come back to preparing because he dreaded for his family's wellbeing.
